The Government of Malaysia has launched the KKR Organizational Strategic Plan 2021-2025.

The Government of Malaysia, through the Ministry of Works (KKR) has launched the KKR Organizational Strategic Plan 2021-2025 which is based on thrusts focused on the efforts of the construction sector to revive the Malaysian economy towards the realization of the vision of shared prosperity 2030 .

According to the Ministry, the first thrust was to improve infrastructure development and regional inclusion, while the second was to expand the use of digital technology in infrastructure development and maintenance.

The third thrust is to strengthen the capacity, capabilities and competitiveness of the construction sector, while the fourth is to strengthen organizational governance to improve efficiency in service delivery.

The strategic plan also took into consideration the ability to realize the 12th Malaysia Plan, preparedness to explore the fourth Industrial Revolution (or Industry 4.0) and upcoming policies.

Minister said the growing and challenging customer demand require a holistic and responsive strategic planning which needs to be delivered as soon as possible in line with the new norms.
